Want to become the best portrait and product photographer? Or the best Director of Photography for TV commercials?
Or how to improve your home design / real estate photography? Or landscape photography?
Hey, welcome! I'm an image professional with 35 years of international experience. I worked as Director of Photography on some of Romania's most iconic TV commercials of all time: "Batman, Batman", "Cât e halatu'?" and "Laser, frate!"
Throughout my career I was chosen to collaborate with Cannes-awarded Romanian directors — including Cristian Mungiu, Palme d'Or laureate (Cannes 2007) — shooting as DoP on campaigns for Vodafone, Leroy Merlin, FocusSat and others. I was also called to direct product commercials as a director in distant and exotic countries: Vietnam, India, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and more. See my DoP works → · See my photographs →

What Students Say
A few words from those who have taken Max's class.
Bogdan Mihalcea
"I had the chance to attend one of Max's photography classes. I loved the atmosphere Max created through his openness and passion for photography — his own examples and the lighting exercises showed us the mindset and fine sense needed behind a great photo. I had a great time both in front of and behind the camera."
"I was familiar with the world of photography from an early age — my father was passionate about it, back when photography was on film, black and white, developed in complete darkness. I think that's also why it was such a joy to attend Max's class, where I met wonderful people and felt truly pampered. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I believe you need an impressive store of beauty within yourself to elevate this passion to the level of art. Thank you, and success in everything you do."
